Red/Green/Blue

Red/green/blue seems to be a combination I am loving at the moment! It's certainly come through my latest Woodland Girl, Ayumi:

And this Babushka doll I made for an Aussie craft magazine submission:

How about you? Are there any colour combinations that you find hard to shake-off or that consciously/sub-consciously link different pieces of your work together?

[More pics of the dolls in my Flickr set here].

I love your work! I think I'm drawn to it because we seem to share affinities for certain color combos--I love red and blue, blue and brown, green and red, red and black, light blue and black. The list could go on and on. I just like for my colors to pop and I usually try to link softies together using complimentary fabrics. Anyways, great dollies! I love them:)

Jhoanna, you know how I feel about your softies, but the Babushka doll makes me want to squeal. If it gets into the magazine, you *must* buy a copy for me, I'll send you heaps of U.S. goodies in return!

Are you surprised to see me commenting here? :0)

Thanks so much everyone - and it's good to hear some of your are attached to certain colour combinations too - I really can't seem to steer clear of red/green/blue at the moment! :-)

Natasha - I designed the face in Photoshop/Illustrator then printed it onto printable cotton sheet.

Michelle - thanks! I think a swap is most definitely possible :-)

I'm really loving purple and brown these days. And ditto to everyone else - your dolls are one of a kind fabulous! The face on the first one is just so dear.
