Human: “You ate my shoes! How could you eat my shoes?”
Dog: “Shoes? What shoes? I don’t see any shoes!”
Human: “Look at me when I’m talking to you! I know you ate my shoes!”
Dog, meeting human’s gaze, but with head turned to the side, and looking shifty-eyed: “Shoes? What shoes? I don’t see any shoes!”
