tons of new work, charity & spinning wool

hello plushie friends! i feel like i've been in some sort of "making cave" for the last few months... (anybody else out there completely overwhelmed?!). well, at least in that time i've been able to make a bunch of new work (not just soft sculpture either); i finished a really big mural here in baltimore city and have been asked to do all sorts of crazy stuff in the next month, like teach classes and have a book signing, and more... (deep breath!). BUT, i am taking a small break from "making" for a few weeks, and celebrating my loyal fans and supporters with a massive sale on my etsy with 5% of the sales going to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. So, that's pretty exciting. *** Switching gears slightly--- does anyone out there spin their own yarn? its way in the future i think, but i'd like to raise my own (insert hairy animal here--- angora rabbit, goat, alpaca) someday and wanted to talk to someone about it. that's sort of random (but you know, it might be a lot cheaper than buying wool and i figured you guys would know how many dolls you can make with one sheep right?!).
