3 days until the Plush Team takes over booth 70 at Renegade Chicago!

Woot! I can't believe it is so close! I really wish that I could have made the trip with my plushies to Chicago...I'll be there in spirit! Another fabulous Plush teamer that WILL be at the Plush Team booth at Renegade is Susarto!

Susarto is a plush designer and oil painter from Pennsylvania. She has a B.F.A. from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, where she majored in painting and drawing. She has been a professional artist for several years.

She also makes weirdos. They are so much fun! She started making them because she wanted to make some sort of a doll for her niece who was recently adopted from Guatemala. She thought since she was coming into a weird family that she might give her a little weirdo to help make her a little more comfortable. She has since made what seems to her like hundreds of them. She started basing the weirdo descriptions on herself. ie: her sugar addiction, fear of squirrels, painting, etc... they now have spread into descriptions of people she knows! Be sure to stop by booth 70 and adopt your own weirdo!
