VILLAIN & DAMSEL

The girl is about 14" tall and the villian is 20" tall. His hat is 5" of that. The train tracks are made of balsa wood and she is sewn to them. Inspiration for these pieces came from the old black and white movies of the silent era that depicted the villain and the damsel in distress being tied to railroad tracks. Maybe I should have made a plush train to go with them since the train really is the third character in this scene.

Made of fleece and denim(jacket).

Made of fleece and rope.

these are hilarious. I love 'em. when I was a little kid I always caught those scenes in old movies where the villain tied the damsel to railroad tracks and thought it was completely ludicrous but could also appreciate the villain for the hard effort. dragging someone out to tracks must be a serious workout.

You blow me away! Very well-executed, from the awesome details on each doll (the circles under the villian's eyes and his red nose? Killing me!) to the posing and staging of the photo.

These are really awesome. You knocked one out of the park with these two. I love the expression on the villain's face and the way he rubs his hands with glee. Super cute!!
