Hey Y'all! Just want to make some clarifications for all of you who want to participate in the upcoming "hair salon/plush" show, Lock, Coif & Barrel. Here's what I'm looking for: Please create original works of plush (or crochet, needlepoint, felted-wool, etc.) that are inspired by anything that's associated with beauty salons. Unfortunately due to space, I can't accept anything larger than 4x5 ft. Each artist can submit up to 5 pieces for consideration. E-mail jpegs of your work along with your name, phone, size of each piece and website to lockcoifbarrel2009@yahoo.com. All entries are due May 1st!
The show is to be held December 10, 2009-January 3, 2010. Opening Reception will be on December 10, 2009 (during the Art Walk held monthly in Downtown L.A.) at Salon 6 (www.SalonOn6.com). Hope this all helps...
