A couple weekends ago I trekked with friends to show my work at Oddcon (scifi convention) in Madison Wisconsin. It was a huge success and I sold 9 items! It helped that the art show opening on Friday Evening was open to everyone (not just the artists) and there was plenty of chocolate and WINE to start the bidding moving.
The above photo is JJ, she was the art show director, and she had winning bids on two of my stuffies. Look at that grin! She and the other art show volunteer declared me Yarn Ghoddess, and it totally made my millenium. I'm still giddy.
Now I'm working on some commissions, and items to send off to the art show at Marcon.
And plenty to make for my ETSY too.
