why yes, a giant giraffe please.

So I made a giant giraffe, I did, see him there. He is from one big woollen blanket, and is quite big, really. I'm not sure what I will do with him now. Put him in my shop perhaps, and share the giant giraffe love.
I'm asking 'What would you do with a giant giraffe, if he came to your place?' on my blog, leave a comment here or on the original post with your answer.

For now he stands in the corner of the studio, looking cheeky.

The Giraffes Are Coming!

The Whimsy Patch opened up the other day and a stampede of Whimsy Giraffes and their dollie and chap friends came rushing out. They were coming to visit their friends Gigi and Dottie and were ready for a night out on the town. They hit Maido, the best sake and sushi pub in town, then made a run for the dance clubs and danced, danced, danced the night away.
Check out my blog at www.thewhimsypatch.com to read all of their stories:)

Hello from Crabtree Studio!

Hello everyone! This is my first post, and I am super excited to be part of such a talented, creative group! My name is Jessica and I live in Minneapolis, MN.

I have always dabbled in crafty things, but I started sewing plushies in earnest about 2 years ago simply because I couldn't find any nice plush versions of my favorite animal, alpaca:
At about the same time, my best friend, Amy, was also dabbling in plush (and handbags). We joined forces and started our venture, Crabtree Studio, pretty much on a whim. We're having tons of fun, and continually create new critter patterns for any creature that catches our fancy.

Stop by our Web site and blog, or check out our flickr pools for more photos:

Amy and I look forward to being part of this community!
