You can call me Mr. Nannerpuss

After many people told me that Nannerpuss on the Denny's commercial reminded them of my Nr. Nanner character, I decided to take a stab at a Mr. Nannerpuss.....pictured here on a stack of Mr. Toastees, not pancakes ^_^

Even Toast Likes to Dress Up for Halloween!

Here is my entry for the Esty Plush Team Sept/Oct project - Costumed Plush Catergory. When I asked Mr Toastee what he wanted to be for halloween, he said, "a black cat". So, I whipped up a little black kitteh costume for him - complete with little pink paws! You can check out the other Plush team project entries on the Plush team blog.

I love living in a world where Toast dresses up for Halloween ^_^

Plush Team At the Fair!

For the current Plush Team Project, we are creating Fair inspired plushies. I decided to create some plush renditions of my favorite foods to consume at the fair! Here are my first 2 entries, a Sno Cone and some delicious, fluffy, cotton candy! Both are done in an amigurumi style. Be sure to stop by the Plush Team Blog to see some of the other awesome entries!!!

Crochet + Science = Phun

Being the uber science nerd that I am, I totally jumped at the opportunity to design a plush amigurumi microscope for a private label. I love a challenge!

Ice cream = Summer

I've been working on some new Happy Happy Ice Cream cones lately...here are some of my favorite new "flavors" - Pink Lemonade, Cotton Candy and Neapolitan.

These ones don't have any calories, are fat free, and guaranteed not to melt ^_^

Anyone up for some Ice cream?

I created this little guy for the Etsy Hookers Team Challenge #2. Our entry had to contain at least 5 colors from the rainbow. Being that it's summer and I have been eating ice cream like it's going out of style, I decided to whip up a 6 scoop happy happy ice cream cone, with each scoop a different color of the rainbow. It was so tall, it almost didn't fit into my lightbox!!
The Happy Happy Ice cream cone was one of my first original crochet designs, so it holds a special place in my heart...and tummy ^_^

Creepy Breakfast Monster

Sometimes I wonder where these ideas come from in my head...
Eggy head, texas toast body, stubby sausage arms and wiggly bacon legs...I could really go for some bacon right now ^_^

Old Barney and Crabby McCrabberton

Can I just say how much I love custom orders? I love the ideas that folks come up with, and the stories behind why they choose that particular item. I thrive on the challenge of designing and perfecting a pattern and then completing the plush.

I just completed this set of plushies for an alchemy request on etsy. These are going to be a belated birthday gift for their mother. The Lighthouse was designed after Barnegat Lighthouse in NJ - it's nickname is Old Barney so they requested a moustache face....I think it was the perfect choice! I added some glitter to the light part of the house - you can't really see it well in this picture but it looks awesome in person - trust me! I also whipped up a little orange crab buddy for the lighthouse. The crab was more difficult than I thought, as I struggled with making it realistic or cartoony. I settled on a mix of the 2 and couldn't be happier.

Do these little guys remind you of summer or what? ^_^
