Feltastic!
I've discovered something magical! Big sheets of real wool felt! Feel free to laugh at me if this is old news to you, but before now I've never been able to find sheets of real wool felt, only the acrylic kind. I could make the felt myself, and while that's awfully fun, it's takes away from valuable toy-making time. I'd always heard rumors such beautiful felt existed...somewhere...in a far away magical craft store. Finally, thanks to Google, I found a place to order it online. In my enthusiasm, I ordered one sheet of every color, but boy was it worth it. It came today, and it's the most beautiful package I've ever opened in my life. The possibilities are so endless, it's almost debilitating. I hardly know where to begin. I use a lot of felt in my toys, and also in embroidered wall pieces (you can see them in a gallery on my blog if you're interested). If anyone knows of another good place to get bulk wool felt, please let me know.

Where is this wonderful land of felt? The options around my hometown are fairly limited. I've recently been branching out into felt crafts, but the limited supply of anything other than acrylic (in very limited colours) has been a sad scene.
Please, please let us know your source. I, too, am obsessed with wool felt. Is it 100%, or a blend?
You can find it here...

Most of it is 100% wool, but some of he colors are a wool rayon blend.
felt is just the best thing in the world (only second to chocolate!), i love it too, you can never have enough felt!. there are some projects that acrylic felt works for, but also, there are some where only pure wool felt will do. i love felting thrifted jumpers, they go lovely and thick.
