Hold Me Bear

finished another "hold me" bear. Made out of yarn I unraveled from an old sweater, washed, and then crocheted. The red yarn from the sweater was made up of all different threads, one being a sparkly silver.

Hi, my name is Michelle!

Hi, I'm Michelle! I'm a Boston artist/crafter designing desserts, soft sculptures, and generally cute things. I picked up my very first crochet hook during my last year of Art school, and I've been addicted to amigurumi ever since. I'm always cooking up new ideas for rediculously adorable softies & new cupcakes.

Monsties

Thanks for the invite! I found this blog from Lalootka! (Hi!)
I'm Trinlayk from Silly Kitty and mostly I do amigurumi critters, both the usual sort (bunnies & kitties) as well as some unusual things like flitter-buns, kitty-hawks, and various monsters.

At the end of November I moved from an apartment to a house, and I'm still buried in unpacking and organizing... As well as making monsters and aliens for the art show at an upcoming SciFi convention. I'm really excited about that, as it gives me a chance to see who has bought my toys, and their resulting great big grins!

Little Emo

Thank you so much for the invitation. It is so exciting to be among such talented people! I am Michelle of Chez Michelle Designs and Suncatcher Eyes. I love crocheting dolls in the amigurumi style. Some day when I can tear myself away from my crochet addiction, I'd love to try my hand at sewing cloth and fur dolls.

This is my favorite doll, Little Emo. He could use some sympathy and a hug. Play with him and carry him around with you, but he still won't cheer up. Life is just too depressing.
